Whether large or small, community or corporate, I can help make your event shine.

Multistudio Open House
Multistudio’s Open House was a 200+ person corporate event following a multiyear rebrand. The goal was to introduce the new brand to clients, partners, employees, and neighbors. I led event planning and art direction in close collaboration with the San Francisco team. Brand touch points included environmental and digital designs to promote and reinforce the new brand.

Heart of the Hub
The Heart of the Hub block party was a family-friendly community outdoor event held on the site of a future community park. The event’s purpose was to support and promote local businesses and organizations while providing an approachable venue to educate the community about upcoming changes within the neighborhood. The event included an appearance by SF District 6 Supervisor Matt Haney and performances by City Ballet SF, the SF Conservatory of Music, and local musician Eric Long. There were food trucks, crafts for kids and local vendor booths. I led the event team from concept through execution, including permitting.

LEAP Arts Sandcastle Classic
The LEAP Sandcastle Classic is an annual non-profit fundraiser for art education. Each year, Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) companies team up with public schools to design and build a sandcastle based upon an annual theme in an effort to get young students interested in a potential career in the AEC industry. I led the fundraising team which we named “The Beach Trolls” in alignment with the year’s “building bridges” theme. I designed the team logo and created an integrated fundraising campaign that included e-blasts, social media, t-shirts and day-of event signage.

“
“Rachel led the organization of a grand opening event for our San Francisco studio. She led the choreography of the event experience and collaborated with other members of the team on large-scale printed wall graphics, digital presentations, printed takeaways and other touchpoints with our new brand. Throughout the process, Rachel helped keep our team focused on a clear set of messages that we wanted to convey locally about our still-new brand. The event was extraordinarily successful – more than 150 people attended and it increased awareness of our brand and catalyzed new client and partner relationships.”
— Liz Thelen-Torres, Former Business Development Director at Multistudio

“Rachel and I brainstormed and planned a magical three days in Wine Country for the company’s first ‘Principals Retreat’. Rachel took on the task of coordinating logistics for 19 couples (including lodging, dining, transportation, wine tasting and bicycle riding) and designed the most elegant pamphlet for each principal that spelled out each days activities. Needless to say, it was an amazing success!”
— Douglas Thornley, Former Principal at Multistudio
